Wow - are you confused.

There is no such thing as "BluRay" resolution or format.

Let me explain:

DVD disks are a 'container' for standard def video which is 480 lines of resolution.

BluRay is a 'container' for the newer HDTV standard which includes 3 different resolutions: 480, 720, 1080.

Computer video files can be ANY resolution from 200 - 4096 rows of video.

What you have is a computer file (probably in a MKV container) that matches the 720 lines of video resolution which is one of the defined HDTV standards.

This does NOT mean it will play on your BluRay player (players are NOT computers)

Nope. You need a resolution of at least 1920x1080 which is 1080p (Blu-ray standard).

Isn't that 720p? Regardless its not Blu-Ray standard but HD nonetheless.

- That depends, are you talking about a 720p PS3 or Xbox 360 Blu-ray video game (very few go up to 1080p, also not sure what resolutions the new PS4 and Xbox One video games are) or a 1080p Blu-ray movie?

- Also any of the above can have a different aspect ratio, but your using media-info so you can easily read the full resolution.

- AAC is not a audio format for Blu-ray movies, not sure about video games tho.
