Hi'

I'm looking for the DVD player that will play my films I've downloaded (DiviX files). i don't want to sit in front of my pc all the time :)

It should not be too expensive though and the quality of the image should be good too.

The best no hassle DivX players are Pioneer, I have several but Pioneer is the most stable and reliable.

Shouldn't be difficult to find. We have a Philips that was bought a few years ago that played DIVX files. There's a Toshiba at Argos that sells for £27.39 that'll do the job.

If you've got a hi-def tv it might be worth looking at a DVD player that upscales DVD & plays divx, cost a bit more but there's a Philips at £49.99

If you've got a hi-def tv I'd say get a Blu-Ray player as these play DVD's, but the cheapest one I've seen on a quick look that also supports DIVX is a Panasonic at £194.69. At those prices you'd might as well be looking at a PS3 as that updscales DVD's, plays Blu-Ray, Divx, Mpegs, etc, & you get a games console out of it.

Sticking to the real world, I'd suggest going for the cheapest thing that suits your needs, & if you haven't gone hi-def then the Toshiba will more than likely suit your needs admirably (+ there's Argos 16 day return policy if it doesn't do what you want).

shouldn't be difficult to find the good one. i have used some DVD player which can support divx, but at actual, most time, it don't work, and some times, only have videos, no sound. I think the better solution is create standard video DVD, now i am using RZ DVD Creator, it can

create standard video DVD from any movies, it can directly convert and burn any movies to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-DL, DVD+DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, flv to DVD, etc. Offer the best quality, can auto fit the DVD size, can resize videos, work well on my computer, i like it.

Following is a step by step guide:

Hope it can help you.
