I have the Westinghouse 42" 1080p monitor (LVM-42w2) and I have confirmed on their website that this monitor accepts 1080p sources. The 1080p option is grayed out on the Panasonic's setup menu. What do I have to do to select 1080p?

Hmm, I'm baffled. I checked and both devices claim to both send and receive 1080p signals, so I don't understand why it's not working.

I did read one post here http://www.dvdplaza.fi/forums/showthread.php?t=52585&page=2 (halfway down in English) which states the guy was using an early firmware. I would check with Panasonic to see if that's the case with your unit.

Contact the seller with this issue if you can't find any help in the Panasonic's troubleshooting guide in the owner's manual. If they can't help you, then contact Panasonic directly.

This is such a new technology and especially in the 1st generation players, there are plenty of bugs in these players, so you might just be experiencing such.

If you have bought at the local store ask them. Check out www.crutchfield.com and see if they can help you. I would also check Panasonic website or call their 800 nbr.
