It's pretty good for a FTA satellite receiver (I think it's twice as much elsewhere).
But...You'll also need a dish and someone to install it if you aren't too tech savvy. You could probably get a better deal through a local shop that sells whole systems and installation. You also need a broadband connect to the internet to download updates to the descrambling (pirating) system.
You might want to ask yourself if you're ok using FTA rather than subscription service. It does have down times. If you're ok with not having any channels for a couple days then FTA is ok.

it will be ok for what you want, but its not the cheapest by a mile, cheapest is around 30 at maplins
do not be miss led, there is no drop off on satellite reception, only if you have a problem, like a miss aligned dish. agin you do not need any decoders or the like, there is a new service called freesat which is a a coalition between the bbc and itv, and is broadcasting all bbc and itv transmissions and many more than freeveiw,( which is via your normal tv aeriel) free (hence the name - freesat) all you have to do is point the dish at 28.2 (astra2) if it isnt already doing so.

with an hd reciever box or pc card you can even receive hd television as hd is also being transmitted via freesat too - but thats another story - they cost 150 quid - but thats it.. so you take your choice.
enjoy

If your living in England it may be a good deal. Otherwise check very carefully on whether or not it can be used or compatible with North American systems...based on if you live in North America.

Well ask yourself this question:Do YOU Want it or do YOU Need it?
