Is the Philips HTS5800H a good home theater system?

Hi,

I am thinking about purchasing the Philips HTS5800H home theater system as described on the Phillips website. But is it a good system, will the speakers sound nice? Our living room is about 14 x 14 feet and it would be nice if we could play music to the adjoining kitchen.

Thank you for any help that you may provide as there is no reviews on any website.

it's not bad but I'd go with the samsung all in one home Theater System with 1000Watt output 5DVD Changer USB Host HDMI in & out XM-ready Wireless ready divX Support it will play just about anything you put in it and it's Speakers Sound's good

None ot them home theater in a box are worth the money. They are not flexible for adding anything or for upgrading. They are designed for you to watch a movie with surround sound only. The only system that I feel good in recommending is the Onkyo HT-S3400. It is a 5.1 receiver and a set of speakers that is price at under $400 at Fry's Electronic. You can add anything to this receiver and also watch a tv program with surround sound. Hope this will help you out.

Right now the BEST "home theater in boxes" are coming from ONKYO...They manufacture several different levels of complete systems...All are great sounding, but each step up offers more sound and speakers for your money...Demo each one down at Circuit City...Here's a link to their website depicting all 5 models they have in stock...($300-$1,000)

Si quieres que tu música suene mejor cómprate altavoces en internet. Los altavoces son un accesorio muy importante para el ordenador, los altavoces que he comprado en amazon son perfectos, tengo el mejor sonido al mejor precio y el resultado es una compra perfecta.
