Thinking of connecting my Epson Moviemate 30s projector (Behind the couch on a shelf) to the TV's 5.1 Kenwood receiver so I have better sound quality when watching a movie on the projector with one of these:

Does it look like it would get the job done alright?
Thanks

The simple answer to your question about noticeable lag or loss of quality in wireless RCA systems is yes. Wireless communications can drop, just like your cell phone can drop a call. Wired communication will not drop. Wired is a better set up from this stand point technically speaking. Will wireless connect ruin your set up? No. However, it is not better than wired connections, only in looks.

Best.

Before buying that one, realize that you'll be setting up to project a 480i or less resolution. See if those wireless modules come with vga, component, dvi, or hdmi. And the analog audio going back to the projector will do you no good if you want/have 5.1 surround. I don't think that lag would be an issue if that audio signal is primary, because it gets transmitted the same. As for loss of quality, probably not. There's not too much information in that painfully low tech video format. If you were applying these wireless transmitters for a 32" screen to be viewed from 8+ feet away, I wouldn't say a word about resolution. But you are going to be throwing a 96" to 120" image (or at least 60-75" with composite. Sounds kinda fuzzy.

If Eli has an Epson Movietime 30s then he won't be too concerned about resolution since that projector has a built-in DVD player and sound system.

Greg's correct about video resolution. But you're just using the wireless link for audio then you should be fine, Eli.
