How do I rip a Blu-Ray Disc so I can play it direct from my PC?

Question

I have about 50 blu-ray discs but I would like to rip these so they are on my hard drive so I can then play them directly through my PC to my TV via HDMI cable.

I know they would take up a lot of space but that is no problem, I just want it so there is a file on my PC (Like an AVI for a normal DVD) and then I can use a media player which will play the content in HD to my TV.

You need to convert your avi to vob (DVD) format. The software I use to do this is called convertxtodvd. You have to pay for it, but it is so easy to use. Just drag and drop the file you want converted into a box and click 1 button. It will even burn it for you too. And it's a relatively quick process. (Depends on your PC and the DVD burner). To convert a 1 hour 20min movie without a menu, just a title and then burn it took less than an hour for me. I have a dual core processor laptop with an External x16 LG burner. Add another 20mins for lightscribe labelling on top of that (If you have that as an option).
