Can this surround sound systems speakers be wall mounted, and put on speaker stands?

They will work either way you place them depending on your preferance.



Don't bother taking a yard stick out and measuring your room... They don't care and really don't have a clue.



In the manual there will be a section on setting it up. They are going to lead you through several areas... where the speakers are located in respect to where you sit. How high off the ground they are etc etc.



Good rule of thumb, is to keep the right and left front speakers about 3 feet to either side of the TV, and the backs should be the in the same spot across the room, at ear level.



When they ask how far the front speakers are from you, they are setting up the surround, so you hear it properly. so make sure you get that as close to on the nut as you can.



I didn't get a real good look, however they all seemed to be the same speaker with possibly the exception of the center. Which should be placed on top of the TV by the way, so you shouldn't have to worry about which speaker goes where, they are all the same, regardless of what the little speaker on the back says.



If you are able to use your own speaker wire, which I presume you won't with this package, I recommend getting better wire than comes with the package. It's going to sound and work a lot better that way.

I have the matching speaker stands for the two front speakers & the two rear speakers. The center one goes under the TV on the first shelf, and the sub on the floor to the left of the TV. Make sure your two front speakers are at least 2-3 feet away from each end of the TV so the magnets in the speakers won't screw up the picture.

Sine they're satellites, the distance between them shouldn't be too far. I would mount the center channel right under the tv centered on the fire place. Then the front L/R channels on the left and right side of the fireplace. (assuming the bricks don't get too hot when the fire is going) The subwoofer on the front corner of the two walls. (if the sub has a porthole on it's side, make sure it's facing the wall) That will help you decide which corner it should go. If it's ported in the front or back, then either side is fine. The rears should be place on some stands in the back and the rear center on a stand in the rear center. =) Or go crazy and hang em on the walls. You wont get much sound out of the rears anyway.

Hi .Yes you can .The only way to hear speakers properly is to have the high frequency drivers at ear level when you are seated.The front left and right speakers should be at least two feet away from all walls on either side and level with your TV.The center channel speaker should be exactly midway and level with the two front speakers. The rear surround speakers can be wall mounted at any height with the front angled towards your seat.

Yes, it all depends on how you want to do it. If you want to mount them on speaker cabinets, than do it. You can also mount them on walls, with wall mounts, the speakers should have a standard key hole to fit wall mounting hardware.

if you own your own house i say you should cut out holes in the wall and make it flush with the wall and have the speaker grills painted to match the wall. this way it looks cleaner and more space.
