You can run them through the wall.

It's not that difficult, if you need help, find someone that knows how to do it. You will need a small hole behind the TV where the wires need to come out to plug in the TV, you will have to "fish" the wires through the wall from the bottom (where you will need a small hole also). The small holes can be covered with wall plates like the ones you use for the switch or socket plates, however they are solid except for one single hole for the wire.

It's not hard and somebody knows how to do this if you don't.

Good Luck !

If your not comfortable doing it yourself. Find a satellite installer to do it on the side. Most of them will do side work if they are not busy. They will charge you, but they have the tools and knowledge. Compare buying the mounting bracket, wire, connectors, wall plates, etc.. with the price an installer would charge you for the same stuff + installation. They get very good prices on installation supplies.

Wall anchors can be found @ Best Buy, and to hide wires, go to Home Depot and buy self adhesive wire channels (avail in many colors) and route wires thru them. Or, alternately you could wall drop the wiring.. Hope this helps.

I in simple terms bought a 40 inch liquid crystal exhibit and put in it on a standard wall. It grow to be a lot less confusing to cover the wires because it did no longer have a mantel etc. to address, yet I have seen it finished at jobs we've finished. (i'm an electrician) One shopper had a timber mantel, It grow to be bumped off and all wiring grow to be finished in the back of the mantel. Drywall bumped off in elementary words in the back of mantel, drilled the studs and ran it down the wall next to the brick to the bottom trim, which grow to be also bumped off. Drywall grow to be bumped off in the back of the position base trim grow to be, studs drilled to closest outlet for capacity and wires, cable etc too. they positioned all equiptment in a cupboard in the nook. even as base trim and mantle grow to be again to unique spots, all wiring etc., grow to be hidden and also you should no longer see a situation. I have also seen a similar set up finished with brick fireplace, a lot more beneficial labor in touch, as mantle grow to be stone, nonetheless detachable, a brick had to be bumped off for outlet capacity and yet another for cable and speaker wires etc. perhaps verify with acceptable purchase, or Circuit city. They do installs. i imagine "common" set up is round $2 hundred.00 yet yours is probably a lot dearer.

you could run it through a wall or just paint the wires.
