i have a touring caravan which i will be taking around the UK most weekends, i have just purchased a set top box, i just want to know which aerial i will need to get a good enough picture in most places i will go. i know some places will go wont be in a freeview area...

i already have a outdoor roof aerial but its old now and i want to upgrade it. which roof aerial do you recommend?

Even with the best ariel in the world freeview is still unavailable in some areas.

I live in Cumbria and there are some areas that can't get freeview OR satellite... wonder what they'll do when the analogue system gets switched off! (Next year...)

I'd try banging a few post codes into the freeview search to see what the chances of reception are.

Anyway - I'm sure you will be SO busy having a good time enjoying all the great places you are going to choose to visit that you won't even have time to switch the telly on!

Jamie D, advance up sunshine. Many Freeview bins have aerial enter and output. Any of those will artwork fantastic. for sure the photo high quality will be poorer than a scart/composite connection, and the sound will be in mono - no longer efficient that is a large issue on a conveyable television. in case you do opt for to pay for television, sky and Virgin bins all have aerial output too.
