I just purchased a rock fish speaker system and was installed . Cannot get the back speakers to turn on?

Best buy installed the speakers but cannot get the back speakers to go on and they want to charge me to come out and show me. Does anyone know how to turn the back speakers on.

- Is the speaker wire connected properly?



- Make sure they are connected to "surround" and not "rear" unless you are using 7.1 (7 speakers)



- Make sure you are set to surround or 5.1 and not stereo



- Make sure you are listening to something that is in surround sound (try a DVD)
