You have to download the firmware update from the manufacturer to your blu ray disc player. You can also get a disc from the manufacturer to up date the firmware. Call or email the manufacturer and see what firmware is required for your player. Hope this will help you out.

There are no codes for you to make your player a universal/region free player. There is only two manufacturer that makes universal player that I know of in US market. The Pioneer Elite a the OPPO and are priced higher than your normal player. The Pioneer Elite is around the $300 and the OPPO in the $499. Hope this will help you out.
