Should I buy dvd boxsets or is it a waste of money? Blu-ray prices going down?

I wanted to buy tv show box sets but is that a waste of money? does anyone still buy dvds? HOw come the blu-ray prices are going down alot? I don't know which I should get because right now I don't even have a blu-ray player. any input would be greatly appreciated! :D thanks in advance

Blue ray disc movies are in higher quality resolution picture than the dvd. It is worth the money, beside that most tv you find now are in the 1080P and the only source is from the Blue Ray disc movies. Yes, the price have drop and will continue to drop. Same thing when the first dvd came come, they started at $24.95 and higher until majority of the consumers stopped buying VHS tape.

then try blu-ray don't waste your money to buy dvd boxsets

or just simply watch that tv show online go to google and then write watch tv shows online you will get plenty of links.

it would be worth wile to get the bluray, but the prices will continue to fall and you do not yet have a bluray player. if you are planning on upgrading to full HD I would say wait and get bluray, but if you are gonna just stay with your current setup, just go DVD. plus if you do upgrade in the future, bluray players still play DVD's but not visa versa.
