I've been seing these things on ebay and amazon called itheater virtual video glasses and they say that it supports 720p, so does that mean I will get an HD picture because I thought that was only possible through HDMI but these use av cables.

Supporting 720p and displaying 720p are two totally separate and distinct things. You can have a display that is 480 support a 720p signal but in the end that 720p signal is down converted to 480. In fact, from what I can find about the these glasses is that the true resolution of the display isn't even 480!

Good HD rated component cables can transmit up to 1080p.

Sony BluRay players try to annoy pirates so these devices only output 1080i through the component jacks which as led to the myth that component cables cannot handle 1080p.

Since you are talking about glasses - chances are they are using the mini-RG59 cables which are thinner and lighter. They would not be my choice for HD video, but for a short run to a set of glasses on your face, they probably work fine for 720.

Hope this helps.

i'd guess the "primary AV cords" are including to the priority. HD television creates a great bite of records and customary cables are no longer waiting to transmit that quantity of records in time to your television to exhibit it. Get some mid-priced HDMI cable and notice if your concern is going away. If it does not, then call the cable corporation. HDMI is the only cable it is able to transmitting that plenty band width. seem at it as a bigger "pipe" for the records to circulate via.

just a comment, HDMI are also AV cables. Since they also transmit audio and video.
